1958 Lincoln Continental "Maybellene"
The story
Chuck Berry’s 1955 song "Maybellene" is a narrative about a man chasing his unfaithful girlfriend in a Cadillac, while he's driving a V8 Ford. The lyrics highlight themes of youthful romance and the excitement of cars, resonating with the teenage audience of the time. “Maybellene why can’t you be true?” Maybe Chuck could have caught up to her in this 1000HP V12 Lincoln.
