
1959 Porsche 356A Outlaw
The story
"Outlaw Porsche" refers to heavily modified Porsche 356s, particularly those that deviate from the original factory specifications. The term, popularized by Rod Emory and his family, initially had a rebellious connotation, but has since become a respected category in the Porsche world.
Engine & Transmission
Polo Motors built a 2.5L. 4-cylinder made from a 3.6L flat six 911 Engine, backed by a 5-speed Porsche 901 Transaxle.
Chassis
The suspension is a modified 912 Rear IRS, and a dropped spindle front.
Body Modifications
Front and Rear bumpers pull into the body, Aluminum rear decklid. All custom-built trim, chromed by Ogden Chrome.
Paint
Color is called “Underslated” from our paintline “Modern Classikk by Kindig powered by Sikkens.” It may look like a solid gray color, but in the sun, it has purple, gold, and green pearls that dance.
Interior
By JS Custom Interiors, featuring Impact “Rosso Scuro Red” Leather and Impact Tan Leather. With German Square Weave carpet. Seats are from a Porsche Speedster. Koch’s Shrunken Porsche Steering Wheel, stock column. Custom-built Dakota Digital Gauges.

One-off wheels designed by Dave Kindig and built by EVOD. 15x6.5 Wheels and Tires 175/55/R15 Front 15x7 Wheels and Tires 195/65/R15 Rear.
