This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Convertible is built and detailed to a very high degree inside and out.
A rebuilt 454 CID big block, featuring aluminum heads, backed with a Tremec 5-speed transmission — powers this restomod.
The frame-off restoration allowed many details underneath; including 3” stainless exhaust w/ electronic exhaust cutouts, Detroit Speed front and rear suspension, Front and rear Wilwood disc brakes, all rolling on Billet Specialties 18” and 19” fury wheels wrapped in red lined Michelin tires by Diamond Back Classics.
Inside this ride, you will find an all-black leather interior with a heavy white French seam, black velour carpet, and a new black canvas top with a glass back window – done by JS Custom Interiors.
Door handles by Kindig-it Design and some finishing touches to ensure everything was finished perfectly.

#8 Barrett-Jackson Licensed Edition features all the same details as the standard options of the Kindig CF1 Roadsters but has many custom touches to make it extremely unique and collectible.
These CF1’s feature 100% carbon fiber bodies sitting on custom Roadster Shop Chassis’ that are modified specifically to enable the seats to sit 4” lower, 4.5” further back, and doors 4.5” longer while retaining stock wheelbase.
The styling of the CF1 is unmistakable, from the custom headlights, sectioned body, contoured wheel arches, chopped and laid-back windshield, to the flip-up taillights revealing the Hagan gas cap and the built-in C-Tek battery tender – This car is beyond Bitchin’.
#8 features all bright work in polished nickel by Ogden Chrome including the one-off Kindig-designed wheels by EVOD. Other one-off features include the custom houndstooth SIAM Red Leather by JS Custom Interiors, Custom Dakota Digital gauges with the Barrett-Jackson and Kindig-it Logos, and badges on the cowl and valve covers commemorating the collaboration.
The 652 rear wheel horsepower with 580 pounds torque comes from Lingenfelter Performance in the form of the “Eliminator” 427 LS topped with Borals’ 8-stack injection, Ultimate stainless headers, full stainless custom exhaust, and a single Borla crossover muffler. The chassis is finished in a semi-gloss black powder coat by Pacific Coast Powder Coating, and all hardware is chrome. Braking thanks to 6-piston front, and 4-piston rear Wilwood 14” disc brakes. Complete Bluetooth Kicker Audio with an 8” sub and four 6” components. This beauty weighs an amazingly low 3,025 pounds with a full tank of gas!
Kindig CF1 #8 Barrett-Jackson Licensed Edition comes with all the original hand-drawn renderings and CAD modeling sheets, paint, and material samples, as well as a matching theme “Reverend” Guitar.

Upgraded QA1 coil-overs, Wilwood disc brakes, an LS3, and the Magician hat to complete it all – a Magnuson Supercharger to push out 625 rabbits, I mean Horses.
You know our saying “Stock Sucks” Well, there was literally nothing stock on this, to begin with, so everything on it was custom made, custom designed, and custom fit. Including the rear quarter glass, Kindig-it Door Handles, and leather interior details.
